FPGI enters into final negotiations to bring DP2 OSVs with Guyanese flag to service the offshore market.

Georgetown, Guyana. March 24th, 2022:. Fist Petro Guy Inc (FPGI), a 100% local Guyanese owned company established in Guyana. has entered into the final negotiation stage to bring to Guyana and operate two Offshore Service Vessels (OSVs) with main particulars of DP2, 3.3m draft, 67m LOA and free deck space of 422 m2. The vessels were built in DeHoops shipyard, Holland In 2011 and 2008.

These  supply boats will be the first DP2 OSVs with Guyanese Flag. These OSV will be flagged upon arrival which is expected in late Q2 2022. The company will employ a maximum number of Guyanese crew. FPGI is convinced this will set a good precedent and a more competitive solution for Guyanese companies and stakeholders operating in the offshore services market. The flagging ceremony date will be announced close to the arrival of the OSV to Guyana.

FPGI provided services for the campaign on Liza Destiny and Liza Unity the Dan Swift, an Accommodation Service Vessel.

Georgetown, Guyana. April 15th, 2022: The ASV  Dan Swift completed two campaigns for SBM in offshore Guyana, providing accommodation service to the FPSO Liza Unity from November 2021 to February 2022  and for the FPSO Liza Destiny from March  2022 to April 2022.

Fist Petro Guy Inc provided the following services for the offshore operation of the Dan Swift: Coordination of local logistics for materials and equipment.

International and local procurement  solutions for consumables including hydraulic oil for main equipment.  Waste management logistics of skip containers, pallet boxes,  IBCs  and disposal of general waste and sludge. 

Execution of  bunkering operations while at Anchorage.

During this time, FPGI also assisted the offshore requirements for the Walk to Work offshore  vessel Island Diligence.
